Action/Call
FACCE ERA-GAS Second call, 2018Agriculture contributes to greenhouse gases emissions (and also carbon sequestration) in a variety of ways. For example, fertilisers are converted into nitrous oxide (N2O), cattle produce methane (CH4) and tillage techniques lead to carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
The second call of FACCE ERA-GAS focused on applied transnational research projects with the overall objective of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in animal production systems in Europe and beyond. The projects’ potential impact should be relevant for the mitigation of GHG emissions within the coming 5-10 years.
This call belongs to the FACCE-JPI 2010-2020 - Core theme 5 - Mitigation of climate change.
*Automatic sum of the projects’ total cost and total requested funding estimated at the time of the proposal. These numbers may vary during the projects’ lifespan, please consider the addition as an accurate estimate.
